I am halfway done on the Fat Bottomed Bag from the Happy Hooker. I used Lion Brand cotton, which splits a lot, but is cheap. The construction of the bag is different than I thought it would be, since you're working sideways, instead of from the top. I might make fewer rows, because I don't it to be as wide. It's taking a while, but hopefully the finished project will turn out good.

Dislike the Name, Like the Project

Thank you for this post - I have started and ripped out this bag a bunch of times over the weekend because it just wasn't looking right. I totally didn't get that it's made from side to side! Thanks for making it clearer for me!
